Preparation for a good stay
杰克森维尔勒琼营地附近罗德威套房酒店的点评
点评：In Jacksonville attending a ConEd for two weekends in April. On a budget and chose Rodeway.
After reading reviews I was worried but I didn’t change my mind on staying. Like most travelers, since the govt lockdowns have been lifted- customer service has gone by the wayside almost everywhere. No one wants to work and for travelers that means check in clerks and housekeeping.
So I came prepared with a bag of cleaning supplies, bedding to include pillow.
Upon arriving at the hotel you can see the pool has been inoperable for a long time with no intention of being repaired, no visible intention.
The lady working the front desk was professional and pleasant.
Upon entering the room I started unpacking the cleaning supplies. Ran the hot water, used my pines and mopped the floor, wiped down all surfaces, and using Lysol spray on all touch locations.
But to my surprise, the white towel used to mop was only a hint of grey. They do clean their floors.
The place is dated, for sure. But everything was clean.
So I had gone overboard. As you can see by my status I travel a lot and I’ve seen a lot of good and bad. I would place Rodeway as average. Sure it’s dated but my experience wasn’t that bad and O will be coming back again when in town.
