Dirty, Gross, and an overall very run-down property. Desperately needs a renovation or re-build.

点评：This is my experience with room 2073 on a one night stay. This room was incredibly gross. The hotel is simply run-down, beat-up, dirty, and overall very disgusting. The walls were marked up almost from floor to ceiling. The bathroom was rusty, dusty, and scuffed up. The room smelled musty and mildewy. The room left such an impression on me that I left all my clothes zipped up in my luggage and made sure nothing touched the floor.
In terms of security, the hotel felt unsafe. This hotel is a sprawling older hotel with many side entrances/exits. I returned to my hotel after work around midnight and the doors that led into the hotel directly up to the second floor were propped wide open. The next morning upon leaving, these side doors were all still propped wide open.
The actual room doors are flimsy older wooden doors that do nothing to reassure you (or block outside sound).
The hotel (on the road facing side) has a ton of road noise. I had the ol' sound machine cranked up to the max and could still hear noise bleed from traffic throughout the night.
The price I paid seemed like a great deal at the time of booking ($127/night) and I only had one night... but as soon as I walked in the room I started searching all over Hickory for another option, and unfortunately everything around me was sold out. The bed and sheets on the bed at least were clean enough where I felt comfortable enough to sleep, but I could not get out of there fast enough.
