点评：I met friends there for lunch at their recommendation. We were coming from all over (4 from GA, 1 from SC, my niece from close by Weaverville and I live in Hillsborough, NC). We were seated at 2 neighboring tables. As we were only meeting for lunch, I asked the group if they would like to try freeze dried grapes we are in the early stages of market development and testing. They all said yes, so I went out to my car and brought in a 1/2 pint jar. When I couldn't open the jar with my fingers, I went to the bar and asked the person behind the bar if she would mind opening it for me (assuming there would be a church key available). She tried with her fingers and when she couldn't open it, she grabbed a knife and started jabbing at it. Eventually, the lid flew off with several of the grapes flying out. I brought the jar to the table and a few people picked up 1/2 of a grape each, when someone, I assumed the woman behind the bar, cones to the table and loudly claims that the restaurant doesn't allow outside food and it would cost us $4 per person. I said I would put the jar up.
I was not going to see anyone in our party after the lunch and if there was not enough fruit available for everyone to try 1 grape. I mean honestly say I have never been treated as rudely in a restaurant. She could have quietly said it was against the policy. She was not the server at either of our tables. What I was offering was harmless.
Our greeter and server was polite and helpful and the food OK but highly overshadowed by the rudeness encountered. As such, I wouldn't return or recommend.
