点评：Like all of you, I usually read and follow the posted reviews on Trip Advisor before staying or going somewhere. The one time I didn't listen to the majority, I got burned. On Saturday July 12, 2025 my wife and I stayed overnight in Wilson NY, we were passing through the area and decided why not. The Wilson Boathouse was recommended by another couple. I read the reviews prior to reserving a table and what I saw were most of the complaints were centered around customer service. Really bad reviews! We decided to chance it and made reservations. Our reservations were for 730pm, we were seated at 750pm...ok no big deal. Our waitress came over 15minutes later for our drink order, I got my soda 15 minutes later, my wife got her drink 25minutes later. The restaurant was busy earlier but was thinning out at 830pm so we thought it wouldn't be a long wait. Our waitress never came back for our food order ....lol. We finally got up and told the couple next to us "If the waitress ever comes back, tell her we left because the service sucks" We left! I should've followed the advice of other reviewers as that would've prevented that entire SNAFU!
