点评：Arrived at 625 for a 630 reservation and were seated about 640pm. Our pleasant but nervous server cited several times it being her first time back for the season, as the reason she did not know if there were any specials (if there were, we never did hear them) or how to uncork and serve the wine (another staff member stepped in).
Appetizers of smoked trout and duck wings arrived after a lengthy wait and were absolutely delicious- five stars for those. We used our tiny bread plates, as the requested appetizer plates never materialized.
Our server assured us several times during the 30-minute plus interlude between the appetizers being cleared away and our entree arrivals that “everything will be out soon”. The beautiful river view from the patio made the wait more pleasant, save an extended barking session from a dog being walked along the water.
The child’s macaroni and cheese arrived hot, but the four adult entrees were tepid. Two seafood pappardelles were pronounced all right and a lemon coconut trout ok. A salmon dish was overcooked to dryness, accompanied by a crunchy underripe mango salsa and wilted green beans. Proper serving time and temperature would have benefited the dishes.
Having dined here several times before, we expected a bit more.
