点评：Had my hens at the Dam on Sunday. The steak was absolutely delicious, 100% top notch cooked to perfection. Dips were also delicious but didn’t come with any crackers, so you had to buy the bread to accompany them (smart marketing but the bread also comes with “honey butter” which is unnecessary if you’re using the bread for your dips. No one eats dip on its own, do they?)…. But the dessert was the disappointing feature. As a cake & dessert hobbyist, I love a good chocolate torte, so the obvious choose for me was the “chocolate torte and vanilla” which was NOT a torte. It was nothing more than a small square of dry brownie slapped on the side of a mound of soft serve, which was icy and melted in front of my eyes. I hope the dam improves the desserts; with such lovely fresh produce locally some fresh cream and berries with a real chocolate torte would be a more apt selection. But a wonderful venue, and fantastic staff, so overall a lovely afternoon was had by all.
