点评：As a Sage alum (and previous Sage employee + Troy resident) , I have been frequenting The Ruck for years- they are truly a staple of the Troy community and consistently have gotten better and better as the years have gone on.
However, I have to give them MAJOR props for finding a way to accommodate my group of 50 friends and family when my venue for my father's memorial fell through on the evening of the event. I am sure that this is not something that is always feasible and we lucked out that it was a quieter night with the space available, but I cannot emphasize enough how much they saved us. Once they knew our situation, everyone working there was so incredible- I was truly touched by their generosity, kindness, wonderful service and help when we had no where else to turn. I am sure it was nothing short of stressful to take this on last minute but they did it with grace and empathy.
I will forever be grateful and, more importantly, will continue to support them with my patronage for years to come and recommend them to anyone in the area for both food/drink but also events (if this is how they worked an event that was a complete surprise, I can only imagine how well run a pre-planned event would be!). Thank you and be sure to check this gem out if you're out and about in Troy!
