点评：My wife and I had dinner here on a Saturday evening. First time here, in fact I'd never been aware of it until searching online for a good restaurant in the area. The reviews were all good but it exceeded my expectations.
It was a beautiful summer late afternoon when we were seated on the patio. The setting was very relaxing, with exotic flowers on the patio, which overlooks a lawn surrounded by trees.
Service was good,; the owner (yes, he's French) greeted us and looked over things, and the wait staff was attentive.
I was tempted by some of the North African dishes on the menu, but went for the steak au poivre, and my wife chose lamb chops. Both were terrific, done medium rare as ordered, and nicely sauced. I was a bit surprised that my fries weren't shoestring frites, but they were crisp and tasty.
I'm not generally a big dessert person, but we shared a sampler dessert platter and it may have been the star of the show. Everything was good, but the creme brulee and chocolate mousse were particularly amazing.
This is about an hour from our home, so we won't be there frequently, but we'll definitely be back. I'm already looking into places to stay in the area for a weekend getaway that will include a visit to Joelle's.
