点评：It’s an honor for me to get to add this new and amazing restaurant to TripAdvisor.
Rarely do we run into a new place that leaves us so thoroughly happy for having had the experience. Tallow is now one of our top 5 favorite restaurants.
We were nearby in CT when we saw Tallow on our way to Harney Tea Room in Millerton, NY. We decided to go back the next day to check it out. When we arrived we found out it was only their third day being open.
The restaurant is in a very tastefully remodeled McDonald’s. You can see the bones of the McDonald’s, but with a beautiful fireplace, lovely wooden tables, and a gorgeous beamed ceiling, it’s not your usual fast food place!
Their vision is to make fast food good for you with farm to table products. The menu is small (I’m not sure if they plan to expand it in the future) but everything is made fresh and done very well.
I asked about their bone broth and was offered a small cup to taste it first. I have no idea how they make their bone broth, but I have been making it for years and I’ve never once had a batch turn out so absolutely delicious as their broth is!
We had the steak frites. The fries made in tallow were amazing and the steak was so tender, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. If only “fast food” could follow in their example all over the country!
We intend to plan our return trip back south in October around Tallow so we can return and try out more of their delicious offerings. Thanks guys for such a memorable experience! We wish you all the best in the future!

我们打算十月份再去南方的塔洛附近，这样我们就能再去尝尝他们家的更多美味了。感谢你们，给了我们如此难忘的体验！祝你们未来一切顺利！
