点评：My family and I are so happy that Lola’s has come to town. I’ve been there twice already, the first visit I had the turkey wings, macaroni and cheese and green beans. The only suggestion that I would make is to have larger turkey wings.
I feel like all places that serve turkey wings on the island have larger wings for some reason. Don’t get me wrong. They were the tastiest though. Lola‘s desserts are to die for and that’s because I believe her husband is the owner of Docs cake shop in Brooklyn, who hands-down has the best tasting cakes in the tri-state. If you ask me they are them moistest and yummiest cakes you’ll ever try and they come in a variety of flavors. Off the top of my head they had red velvet, blue velvet, coconut and pineapple, pistachio, carrot, and a very unique and delicious strawberry cheesecake with actual cake in it. The second time I visited, I was a little put off because I had called several times to find out if they were still serving and the phone rang continually. When I got there, I was disappointed that very little food was left, but the owners made an exception, and at the end of the night fried some of the best catfish I’ve ever eaten. The portions of fish are hearty. The lemonade is nice and sweet and the service for the most part is really good. I forgot to mention they also have banana pudding that I scarfed down in two seconds. I’ll probably be at Lola’s every Friday after work and I’m sure with time they’ll work out any kinks and take this eatery to perfection.
