点评:This review comes after I emailed the farm asking for the owner or GM to contact me with no response. My husband and I visited Fishkill Farms last Friday to pick both apples & blackberries celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary. We drove over 2 hours to this farm because we liked that they had organic options however after our experience we are not sure how organic they really are. Our experience was lack luster and we had some problems with a rogue chicken or rooster during blackberry picking which caused us to finish early but that was nothing compared to the horrible experience we had in the farm shop. After spending hundreds of dollars at this farm we visited the farm store on our way out. We were overcharged/charged incorrectly for multiple items. We tried to bring it to the attention of the cashier but only had a chance to mention one thing when she disappeared and we were left standing there with other customers not knowing what was going on. After waiting a while we decided we would just leave as it wasn't that big of a deal and we were tired after being there for hours. As we gathered our things to leave the manager comes in the door asking what we needed and being very rude for no reason. Thinking she was just having a bad day I said it wasn't that big of a deal we were just leaving but we were overcharged. I didn't get to finish when she grabbed the receipt, processed a refund for one item and then told me that she refunded it but next time don't be rude or mean to her employees. I asked what she was talking about because I was not mean or rude and she tells me the girl is crying in the back who based on things we overheard might of been her daughter. Then she starts walking away fast as I am trying to ask her what she is talking about and trying to tell her that I was neither mean nor rude but she did not give me a chance to speak to her. She starts yelling I'm done with you, get out of here! Both my husband and I as well as another customer were looking around thinking what is going on. Other people agreed that nothing I did was mean or rude. I simply pointed out that I was overcharged and did not even get a chance to show her the whole receipt. After this happened the manager that yelled at me, another lady that was with her the whole time and both cashiers hid in the back. My husband tried to go over to where they went to speak to the manager so we could find out where the misunderstanding was and she refused to come out. At this point we wanted to return everything we purchased but she would not come out. Then he walked around the farm to see if there was someone else we could speak to and he was told there was no other managers there. I own a business and I can't imagine every treating a customer like this. Even if she witnessed a customer being mean or rude to an employee she should never yell at a customer and tell them to leave the way she did but for her to not witness the situation and accuse someone of something that she did not see and did not happen brings it to a whole different level. Someone like this should not be in customer service. We are very upset at this whole experience. We suggest you think twice of visiting Fishkill Farms if this is the type of employees they keep. We did not think to look at reviews ahead of time but after our experience we started to look and we see we are not the only ones who have had a bad experience with a rude employee.
