点评:The whole experience was bad from start to finish. We were seated at a table that was sticky and covered with crumbs. Our server came over and put silverware on the table, then walked away , (no washing of the table was done). Someone else came over and gave us our menus, she at least smiled. Moments later we gave our orders of French Toast for me and an omelette with potatoes for my husband. I had water and my husband had coffee.. We sat there facing the Cook the whole time watching him make meal after meal, mind you the restaurant wasn’t even half full by this time. The Servers were rolling silverware and chatting. We kept waiting and about 35-40 minutes later our “server” came over and apologized it was taking so long. I was surprised she didn’t offer us a free drink or crackers. Being a diabetic I found a piece of candy in my purse for my low blood sugar. I was ready to walk out but my very calm husband said he felt bad for the Cook because he was alone and appeared very pissed off, so we continued to wait. According to my watch it was 58 minutes from start to finish. First came my husband’s Omelette and potatoes , moments later my very dry and plain French Toast, no powered sugar. When finished I thought for-sure she would have given us a discount but NO! Our bill was $36.00!!! My husband even gave her a nice tip because “It wasn’t her fault” . I left fuming about the service, price and LACK OF COURTESY FROM THE ESTABLISHMENT . (I was also mad with my husband for being so tolerant of the entire situation.) Later he did admit to me he was very unhappy about what happened. To top it off I was sick moments after I ate.
Here’s the good news, we won’t ever be going back so it won’t ever be our problem again. Secondly, I told my little story to a “few friends”. I know this establishment has been here for a very long time so maybe you no longer care about your paying customers, but these types of situations DO ADD UP IN THE NEGATIVE COLUMN and word gets around.
Over all I can almost forgive the amount of time this took, but I can’t overlook the fact that a discount wasn’t offered or a drink at least. That really would have made a big difference in the end.
FYI: Your prices are too high for the “quality” of the food offered.
