点评:We made reservations for dinner to celebrate our 25th anniversary at this establishment and we could not have made a better choice. We had cocktails in the lounge before being seated, and I must say the atmosphere and friendliness was warm and inviting. When seated, our waitresses, Diane and Genny, made us feel even more welcome. We ordered escargot for starters and was treated to the best I have ever been served. A very nice French style baked bread with your not typical oil and herb dip (best ever) was also brought to our table. Next came what I call the best dinner salad I’ve ever had at any restaurant. I just wish I had taken a picture of it. My wife had the prime rib which was cooked to perfection, and came with a delicious light horseradish mash potato. I had the leg of lamb with broccoli/ cheese and a side of the same mash potato. Both meals were exceptional. This was accompanied by a very nice bottle of wine and finished off with a delicious chocolate pate’. As we were finishing our desserts, to our surprise, the chef-owner Michael Simpson came to our table and asked how everything was. We probably went over board with our gratitude but hey, it was pretty darn great! As for the cost, come on, really. OK, $172. Not expensive at all for a fabulous evening.
