点评：Incredible! Amazing! Breathtaking! These words don’t do justice to the experience we had at Oddballs. I’ve traveled all over the world and have seen some amazing places, but this place is unique. It’s Botswana’s national treasure. These statements may seem exaggerated, but they’re not.
Of all the game parks and lodges I’ve visited, I’ve never had an experience like the one we had at Oddballs. The staff treated us like family and welcomed us into their beautiful lodge. The care they gave us, the food they prepared for us, and—most importantly—the wildlife we experienced were superb.
Each morning and evening, our guide took the two of us on walks through the bush, where we saw an incredible variety of animals, birds, and vegetation. He thoroughly explained everything we saw and took time to carefully answer our endless stream of questions. He educated us on how to listen to the bush and how to recognize what the animals were communicating. With his “eagle eyes,” he pointed out animals that we would never have seen on our own.
Where else in the world can you walk for miles through a game reserve and see a fully grown male lion watching you as you pass? We saw elephant, leopard, water buffalo, wildebeest—and so many others. Too many birds to mention.
There are so many more positives to share, but I’ll stop here.
Don’t expect a plush, five-star luxury lodge with broadband internet and game drives. This is the real Africa. Experience it! It’ll change you.
