Unforgettable Stay at Gomoti Plains
Gomoti Plains Camp - Machaba Safaris的点评
点评：Just got back from a 4-night stay at Gomoti Plains with five friends. We were initially worried it might be too long—but it turned out to be one of the best safari experiences any of us have ever had.
The camp is immaculate. Everything is thoughtfully designed, from the rooms to the lobby and bathrooms—extremely comfortable and convenient throughout.
As part of a broader trip to Botswana, Gomoti offered some of the best wildlife sightings we’ve ever seen. The landscape was lush and green, and we were incredibly lucky to spot everything from wild dogs and massive elephant herds to hippos (even on boat rides!)—and three leopards. A huge part of this was thanks to our phenomenal guide, Ben. He went above and beyond—not only helping us spot wildlife, but also teaching us how to observe animal behavior and explaining the critical role each species plays in the ecosystem. His passion for conservation and knowledge of the bush made every game drive unforgettable. If you go, I highly recommend requesting Ben as your guide.
On the food front, we were surprised to see any negative reviews. We found ourselves (happily) overeating most days. From two morning breakfasts to lunch, afternoon tea-time snacks, and dinner—the meals were high quality, generous, and varied. Everything from traditional Botswanan BBQ to burgers, wontons, and more. There’s something for everyone. (Bar is also very well stocked!)
And the service—without a doubt, the biggest standout. Every single staff member was kind, warm, and attentive without ever being intrusive. Special shoutouts to the amazing chefs, Miss B who runs the camp flawlessly, and Tee, Kate, and the entire service team who went above and beyond at every turn. No ask was ever too big or inconvenient for anyone.
I can’t recommend Gomoti enough—especially if you’re visiting just after the wet season. The variety and abundance of wildlife during this time were nothing short of spectacular.

我强烈推荐Gomoti——尤其是在雨季刚过的时候。雨季期间野生动物的种类和数量简直令人叹为观止。
