点评:From time to time we have enjoyed eating breakfast at Wecks when we have had a reason to be in town early. So this morning, after an early appointment, we stopped there for breakfast.
When we entered the restaurant there was no one up front to show us to a table. After a considerable wait, the host/manager sallied forth from the kitchen and, without apology for the wait, he said "table for 2 this morning? " We responded in the affirmative and then, me tending to be kind of a wise guy at times, I said "we were about to go to IHOP". He turned to me and somberly stated "you could do that ".
Besides having no sense of humor,
it was obviously more important to him to be chatting on the phone in the kitchen than to provide a positive experience to his customers.
As we arrive at the designated table, my wife looked at me and said "do you want to go"? I responded in the affirmative and we proceeded to leave for a place where we could enjoy our breakfast.
This guy really needs to improve his customer service attitude 🙄.
