点评：I don’t think I’ve ever been more charmed by an establishment! Not only is the decor authentic old southwest, the owners are hands-on and super-friendly and the menu is mouth-watering. I had a hard time choosing, but settled on the king trumpet mushrooms on toast with bone marrow butter, and I’m sure my eyes rolled back in my head with pleasure at the very first bite! It was perfection, one of the top ten meals of my life and so good I can’t even recall the other nine! In fact, we went back later in the week and I had to have the exact same thing again, so I guess I’ve had this same top 10 meal twice! My companions’ food also looked, smelled and tasted fantastic!
Awesome food not withstanding, one of the best parts of the experience was the strong sense of community in the place. Not only were we warmly welcomed, I loved watching people walk in the door, scam the small dining room, and see their faces light up as they recognized friends and regulars among the diners. This place is the epitome of connection and enjoying good times and good food with people that matter.
