Beautiful Course in Great Condition

点评：Stayed at the course for 9 nights and played 6 times. 4 times was in the hotel rate, which is much cheaper. But we enjoyed the course so much, we booked 2 extra sessions.
One day the temperature was over 40 degrees, which was a bit sticky ! But the groundsmen were out constantly watering across all the holes. Have never known a course so moist in so much heat.
Management of the course is very good, with marshalling throughout. We were only ‘queuing’ once on all our sessions. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We hired golf clubs, but next time would bring our own. It was difficult to find a set to suit us, although the club said they are currently reviewing all their hire clubs.
Halfway House and bar facilities are good, swift service and friendly. Bit noisy when the members are in !
Yes, security to get into the site is very tight. More so than anywhere else we’ve visited in SA. If you don’t have the right credentials/booking, they simply won’t let you in. We went to the Polo Club, and had to go out through security and then back in on the other side of the complex.
However, this is South Africa ! And I’m sure the majority of residents and guests would rather feel as safe as possible.
