Not how we remembered it!

点评：We loved here last year so made a point of visiting this time.
A lovely setting but with masses of plastic chairs on the outside “terrace”, it was pretty empty when we visited (although they were expecting a charity event later that day so perhaps that was the reason).
Of the 5 or 6 beers brewed on the premises, both the Session IPA and Belgian Pale Ale were unavailable, which in a microbrewery is inexcusable in my eyes. So we opted for the Wit beer and a blond ale.
Food wise, last time we really enjoyed the blooming onion so opted for that plus the bitterballen and angry wings.
Unfortunately the blooming onion wasn’t how we remembered it with very little dipping sauce and the onion didn’t appear as though it had been cooked long enough. The bitterballen and angry wings were OK although the latter were extremely messy.
Such a shame as we used to love it here but in view of the fact two of the beers weren’t available and the food wasn’t up to scratch, we may not be back next year.
