点评：We live 40 minutes away and try to stop at Cafe Pierrot when we are in the Sparta area. This past week we stopped in for lunch. The special salad was OK, but nothing special. Thankfully the salad dressing was on the side because there was way too much of it. As we were leaving we picked up a chocolate eclair and loaf of seeded rye bread to take home. The next day we each had a slice of the bread and then threw the rest of it away - it was way too salty. Salt was all we could taste. My wife commented that the baker must have made a mistake, it was so bad; the intense salt couldn't have been intentional. Then we shared the eclair. The chocolate had no flavor. If my eyes were closed I would not have been able to identify the substance. Only the dark brown color provided a clue. I would have preferred a custard filling rather than the pastry creme, but that's a matter of style, not quality.
