Costa Verde的点评
点评：Had not been to Costa Verde for a few years and have now eaten here 2 times in the last few months. The last visit,I sat at bar and ordered barbecue cod. Fish was dry, most of the meal (fish/veg/potato's) were barely warm, almost cold.
Thinking any place can have a bad moment, we went there this week for dinner.
We ordered Portuguese Picadinho and Pork with clams. Service was friendly but non attentive during dinner. As we sat down, the waiter mentioned several dishes that they did not have (restaurant was empty, and it was a Tuesday, so I doubt they had sold out) They offered a "specials menu" and a regular menu that was on an IPAD.
The pork in both dishes tasted like it was boiled, meals lacked flavor and were bland, pieces of meat were very small, over abundance of potatoes to make the meal look large, food was barely warm. Food was eatable but not up to the standard of usual Portuguese meals.
We have been to many Portuguese restaurants, have always been offered salad or soup...not at Costa Verde. Cocktails/house wine were good. When it came time for desert, they were out of half of the items (Chocolate mousse, creme brulee and a few other favorites)
Based on these two visits and the lack of food quality, we will look for another Portuguese restaurant in the area.
