Wonderful time at the Haunted Ghost Walk and concert and visit the next day
Salem County Historical Society的点评
点评：I love visiting the Salem County Historical Society when I am in Salem County, NJ. This little museum is a treasure trove of artifacts and interesting displays. There is a fascinating display of Native American artifacts, an interesting exhibition of the ice cream industry that used to be in Salem County, an inaugural dress from George Washington's Ball and a variety of beautiful clocks on the second floor.
The most interesting display was the new artists of Salem County past and present that was going on when I visited. It was a nice display of paintings from all eras and gave a glimpse of the talent in Salem County.
The most fun was the "Haunted Ghost Tour" of Downtown Salem. We started with a concert of ghostly music at the Episcopalian Church and then proceeded to walk the entire historical district of Salem with actors and residents telling their tales of haunted houses in the area and ghostly visits. It was really fun and it was a wonderful cool but nice night to tour the downtown. The homes were beautifully decorated for Halloween which put everyone in the spirit. When we finished the tour, we went back to the Anique store where we started and they had hot chocolate, apple cider and fresh cookies for us. What an excellent event that I highly recommend.
There is so much to see and do at this museum and touring around the historical downtown.
