Very interesting local historical home with a local mining history behind it
Bridget Smith House Museum的点评
点评：The Bridget Smith House is a tiny former Mining Company house in Mine Hill, NJ near where the old mines were in town. It is one of the last examples of early company housing that has been preserved by the Ferromonte Historical Society of the town.
Inside you will see the history of the mines, life for a mining family who worked above ground. It was a double house that once housed a family of six (where they slept I do not know) and the house is set up so that you can see how they lived on a day to day basis. The house makes you appreciate modern times.
The volunteers here are very dedicated and will give you a full tour of the home with a history of the area as well so that you can see how it all tied into one another with the day in the life of a mining family.
