点评:We had a lovely birthday dinner celebration for my step son-in-law on a Friday evening from 6-8PM. Be aware that parking is valet only during this day/time. They seated us at our usual quiet booth in the back, as requested. The waitstaff were friendly, attentive and answered our questions thoughtfully. The drinks and wine were all very good, particularly my husband’s Bellini which I tried, it was not overly sweet. For appetizers we ordered from the cold shellfish two shrimp cocktail ( 3 jumbo pieces per order)and the cold crab. Both were very clean, with a nice meaty texture, and were devoured promptly. For entrees, my husband had the lamb chops, which were plentiful enough to share and cooked to a perfect medium-rare (as suggested by our waiter). Everyone agreed that they were beyond delicious. My step daughter and I also shared a 17oz bone in filet, which was presented to the table pre-sliced with bone on the side. It was grilled to a perfect medium-rare, tender and tasty. Her husband ordered a steak as well and said it was fantastic. The peppercorn sauce had a nice flavor, with just a little spice of pepper. Our sides were onion rings, flaky breading with al dente onion; baked potato; and ‘burnt’ broccoli, interesting and flavorful. For dessert they brought us some complimentary biscotti and we also ordered a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream to share and a sorbet for the birthday guy (he’s on a dairy-free diet). The desserts were good, but there is room for improvement. Overall, this restaurant is bit pricey but not out of the realm from the other high end steakhouses in North Jersey. My husband and I will be back soon to try the lunch menu which includes many of the same choices as dinner, but at a lower price point.
