点评：Barbes is a unique restaurant, at least for this country, in that it blends French and Moroccan cuisine, and here is an excerpt from its website, "To call our establishment Barbès is to pay tribute to the vibrant essence of that neighborhood, a melting pot of Parisian and North African culture, cuisine, music & decor. With a menu that takes its lead from Morocco, North Africa’s culinary star, balanced with traditional French brasserie fare and a cozy atmosphere echoing the bistros of Paris (but with some really cool Moroccan touches)," that has been brough to Hoboken. My wife and I went here with our soon who we were visiting. We went there on a very busy Saturday night. I had the chicken Shawarma which I enjoyed as it was tasty and nice size. The service was well meaning, but disorganized as several wait staff came over to our table to ask us the same thing. There is not much of a waiting area in the front of the restaurant, so that when people are lined up waiting for a table, they at time left the front door open, letting a big draft into the restaurant, which was not pleasant as we were seated by the door. They should think about putting in a vestibule.
