点评：We have been here many times and it's always been great...both the food and the service. This trip was for my girlfriends birthday. First off, we were seated in a booth by the bar. I should have asked for another table, as a few people at the bar were a bit loud and obnoxious. We ordered drinks which came in a reasonable time but the appetizer took a long time. Our food finally came after another long wait. My gf got linguini with crab in a white sauce and I got the the linguini pescatelli. Mine was a special with no prices listed. Our food tasted good as usual. By this time, the obnoxious people at the bar had finally left, only to be replaced by a large party that had just finished dinner. So now there are obnoxious people two deep at the bar with their asses way too close to our table. The waiter finally came back and we had wanted dessert as this was my girlfriends birthday dinner.
I should have asked for this to go, because at this point I just wanted to leave. She ordered cream brulee and I ordered the napoleon. The cream brulee was good but pretty small especially for $9. The napoleon, also $9 dollars was nothing but puff pastry with a small amount of fruit and chocolate sauce. No pastry cream...just a small amount if whipped cream. Complete ripoff on that! My gfs cream brulee came with a quarter size amount of whipped cream. My credit card was already waiting on the table before the dessert arrived. Finally, after sitting there with our coats on, a nice blond waitress took care of our bill. Hadn't seen out waiter for a while at this point. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
The worst part hadn't even occurred yet. A few hours later, my girlfriend said she wasn't feeling well. She then told be one if the pieces of crab didnt taste right but it was already being swallowed. Shortly after this, she was projectile vomiting in the bathroom.
Obviously this was an overall horrible experience from a place we really liked and has always been great.
Also, the price on my special, not listed on the menu, was $41.50. I understand everything is more expensive now, but there wasn't even a large amount of pasta with this. I hope they can get it together...until we hear they have, we won't be back!
