点评：Food in this traditional North Indian restaurant is excellent. We ordered amazing appetizers (AMRITSARI FRIED CHICKEN WINGS WITH PERI PERI SAUCE, RAJASTHANI MIRCHI PAKORA, and MAHARAJA SAMOSA), delicious tandoori platters (MURGH RESHMI SHEEKH), lamb cooked in yogurt (RAJASTHANI DUNGAR LAL MAAS), and topped with biryani (HYDERABADI GOAT DUM BIRYANI). This was accompanied with a bread basket and plain rice. Everything were genuine North Indian dishes that were supremely well prepared and met the highest standards of culinary quality. However, the ambiance of this restaurant was quite lacking and in fact, very unpleasant. The restaurant was way too small for the amount of people in the place and they were packed in like commuters in the New York City subway during rush hour. There many people speaking at a Yankee Stadium voice accompanied with screaming children at play. My family and I were in this restaurant for celebrating my marriage anniversary and we could not savor the dining experience because of the distracting noise and chaos (we could not even hear each other!). Overall, I would recommend the place for the food, but would avoid the place for the ambiance. In other words, do not take a date that you are trying to impress as the food's delectable nature will not save you in her eyes!
