点评:On our last evening in Cape May we wanted to return to the restaurant after a wonderful experience the year before. The year before the restaurant was located in a out of the way location behind the Washington Mall. And the restaurant did not offer at time wine which you were encouraged to visit the liquor store next door.
Now located in the Hughs House on Washington Street what a better selected location to walk to . Also they offer selections of bottles of Wine to drink.
We were greeted at the door informing we had a reservation which is encouraged. The hostess lead us to our table in one of the various rooms in the dining room. We were greeted by our server Jeremy who asked for our drink order and also informed us of the specials of the evening.
We selected for our starts Baked Local Oysters w Caviar and also Endive and Watercress Salad.
Both were excellent and enjoyed especially the Baked Oyster a great experience.
For our main selections Local day boat scallops and wife selected the Filet of Salmon both excellent. Of course during the meal we were being watched by Jeremy for whatever needs we wished to have.
Our selection for dessert were Crème brûlée and Seasonal tart our hot drinks.
It was a delightful meal and experience which we will definitely return next time. Also the food was exceptionally prepared and very tasty.
Please do make a reservation to assure a pleasant table to be seated at.
