点评：I will start out first and foremost saying that the team here is top-notch. Great service, very friendly. Helping each other out. Tending to the guests' needs. The staff is the shining star of my experience here.
I'll also say that the restaurant itself is very homey and comfortable. There's nothing pretentious about it. I absolutely loved that. It was so nice to be able to chill, have a meal, people-watch. It felt like a real neighborhood, family joint. And, I met just some of the nicest people there.
I am just one person, so I wasn't particularly hungry. So, I ordered a tomato pie slice. Now, I fully admit, that's on me. I am sure the experience from the whole pie is a little bit of a different one. The single slice was very, very floppy. The crust was also a bit on the pale side.
Now- as very as the taste goes, it was very good. And, I can only imagine that if the crust was a bit firmer and more done, it would have been an outstanding slice of pizza.
I also ordered breadsticks, which were fine, but not what I was expecting. They were more little garlic toasts than soft breadsticks, as I was thinking. They were still quite good. But....a lot. It was certainly enough for the whole family. I feel like I didn't really make much of a dent, but I wanted to save my appetite for the pizza.
Prices are outstanding and more than fair.
I don't know that this is a place that I would go super far out of my way for, as I did this time. But...if in the area, I would give it another try. Maybe try the whole pie next time to see if it moves the needle.
