点评：Boy I hate to leave bad reviews but, unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. Arrived here as a treat to our kids after coming back from vacation, as we have been coming back here for decades and It was one of the best diners in Nj. (check out my previous reviews on it.) That was before the new owners. Anyway, it started with the service.... took 20 minutes to get someone to our table...and they weren't even busy which on a Friday night should have been a clue. We all selected the seafood bisque as our soup, which looked and tasted like clam chowder (okay I guess clam chowder is seafood...)..next my salad looked old and soggy. As a result, I didn't eat much of it. The icing on the cake came when they brought me my prime rib....It was on a ice cold plate! The prime rib itself was ice cold, like it had been brought straight from the fridge and not warmed. Folks, I'm telling you it was COLDER that cold cuts at the supermarket. Food safety issue?? I complained and asked for another.....a few minutes later they brought me out the same prime rib which now was in multiple, clearly, torched pieces!! When I complained and said that wasn't acceptable for a $26. premium cut of beef. The waiter seemed get frustrated and got the manager. Who came over and literally argued with me that medium rare prime rib was supposed to be" a cold cut of beef", Really?? When I told her that was not true, she stubbornly refused to budge. Been all over this country, and world. Had prime rib in many places....never been told that. Nor have I have an Ice cold prime rib before. Ok, so I have my kids with us, so I'm not losing my cool, and ruining dinner. So, I just told her forget it, I 'll have a turkey sandwich. Which although it arrived after my fam was done with dinner, so I had to take most of it home... was not bad in quality. Any way after I had taken a bite of my sandwich the manager again made an appearance at the table to tell me she had cut into the prime rib (after it was sent to me the second time torched and cut up) and told me it was cooked "perfectly".....Really?? Ugh just wanted to get out of here but most of my party got desert with their meals, and the waiter offered several options. Most of my party settled on the chocolate cake...5 minutes later he returned, saying they were all out and all they could offer was jello or pudding. On our way out, we passed by the full complete chocolate cake that not 5 minutes before we had been told they were" out" of in the desert case...UNTOUCHED. Paided politely, and left never to return.
