点评:From the moment we arrived at Toca Vez everything was perfection! From the complimentary valet service to the warm greeting at the hostess station to the outstanding service in the dining room to the flavorful food. It was our first time there but we were treated like VIPs. We had 5 different people servicing our table: the lead server and her support staff. Every one of them were working to ensure we had great service. The bottled water, cocktails, fresh bread with honey butter, all arrived promptly. The rest of the dinner service was perfectly timed. The head of operations (one of the partners) stopped by to ask how everything was going. Very impressive. For the food, we enjoyed the very fresh oysters and Caesar salad as our first course. For entrees we had the out-of-this-world-delicious short rib and mushroom enchiladas which were served with a perfectly cooked cilantro lime rice and melt in your mouth refried beans. The enchiladas were a “wow” dish. Every bite was a treat. We will order it next time we go. We also had the ribeye steak which was cooked at a perfect medium rare as per our request. It was well seasoned and was very tender. Our sides were the creamed spinach which was probably the best I’ve ever had. The seasoned breadcrumbs helped give it a rich texture and flavor. The sautéed mushrooms and onions complimented the steak nicely. We enjoyed some wine from the excellent wine selection. I’d rate this higher than a 10 (out of 10) if I could! Highly recommended!
