The Carriage House的点评
点评：Carriage House shattered all of my expectations. The meal was one of the best I've had in recent years.
During the winter, the building gives off such a cozy, warm feeling. We were sat near the window, but the baseboard heaters kept me nice and toasty. The service is unmatched! Our server kept our drinks, appetizers, and entrees spaced out so we could enjoy ourselves.
Their cocktail menu is innovative. The 1989 is one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. Our server gave me a list of ingredients so I could replicate it at home. We shared the Fish Pate' and blistered Shishito Peppers. The Fish Pate' was loaded with creamy white fish and stacked with mustard seeds. The flavors blended well. For dinner, we ordered the Pan-Seared Cod and Grilled Swordfish. They were a hit, and we nibbled off of each other plates! Menu prices are a bit expensive, but the quality matches the price. We finished with the Oatmeal Cream Pie, which sealed the deal that we will return when it's more lively in the summer.
