点评:We had friends from California visiting after the Boston Marathon and we wanted to take them to a truly interesting and fun dining experience. Botanica is that kind of place. I love that they have the most original cocktails. I am generally not one for cocktails but these are so creative and clever I usually get two. Dinners are also creative and excellent. We had raw oysters with an amazing cucumber mignonette. I then had the garden salad with Bailey-Hazen blue cheese, rated one of the best blues in the world, which was perfectly dressed, and not drenched. Then for my dinner I had another appetizer, a pasta dish which was perfectly prepared and the perfect proportion for me. And we all shared the chocolate souffle for dessert. Others at the table had the flounder, which could only be described as wonderfully delicate, the steak frites, and the roasted mushroom tart with raves all around. It is a very small restaurant so reservations are a really good idea. I love going here and enthusiastically suggest people start with a cocktail, or two
