点评：The Old North Hampton Library is a historic building built in 1907 in the Tudor Revival style. The architect was Lawrence Berry of Boston.
Some of the building materials were fieldstone and timbers.
The narrow horizontal dormer windows in the attic directly above the ground floor windows are a curiosity. They resemble curved eyebrows.
This was the second place to house North Hampton’s library. The first was in the nearby town hall as of 1892. Another library was built in 1973 behind this one. And, yet another much bigger library was built next door and opened in October 2021.
The Old North Hampton Library has been repurposed and now houses the North Hampton Town Clerk / Tax Collector’s Office.
The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the New Hampshire State Register of Historic Places. There are plaques on the building.
I rate the Old North Hampton Library at 4.25 and can recommend stopping by to view its Tudor-style architecture which isn’t very common in New Hampshire’s Seacoast Region.
The reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews and some health issues.
