点评：This adorable red cottage restaurant was the model for illustrations in a 1948 edition of Little Red Riding Hood. You definitely feel the fairy tale vibes all over the property- from the amazing free library in the shape of a tree that once lived at the spot, to the lovely gardens, greenhouse, tiny museum, and drying shed for herbs. Go early or stay after your 5 course luncheon and check out the enchanting property. But once the bell rings for your luncheon seating time, the food fairy tale begins. We highly recommend the lavender lemonade, hot spiced tea, and hot mocha coffee for beverages. The monthly menus include crackers and dip, a soup, salad, rolls, main course, and a dessert! Our month’s choices are in one of the photos of this review! I can’t say enough about the friendly service, the delicious foods often garnished with edible flowers, the charming ambiance, and the reasonable price tag of $33/person for a fun afternoon celebrating fantastic food, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly staff. On the day of our visit, most patrons were women, but my husband wasn’t bothered in the least. Maybe 20% of the guests were male that day; while the portions were perfect for me, my husband did admit that he’s used to bigger portions. Just an observation for guys who have big appetites. In the restaurant’s defense, it is a luncheon so the portions make perfect sense to me.
Definitely worth a visit any month of the year- they are open year-round. We went in August with gorgeous flowers and herbs. Our server said winter is also gorgeous with icicles and snow everywhere! Definitely pick Pickity Place!
