卢恩山河滨漫步度假村的点评
点评：It was our first time and we will be back!
For starters, theres plenty of parking and the check-in staff was always super helpful. We never really had to wait for elevators and the hotel and rooms are updated and very clean. Most/all rooms have a gorgeous view from them. Teh hotel is beautiful and there are many fireplaces throughout. They had smores from 7-8 on Friday night which we missed b/c we had tickets to the Ice Castles.
I loved that the spa and the winery were within the hotel. As a non-skiier, I booked a lovely facial and went on the wine tour where I learned so much! Make sure you visit the winery (opposite side of the pool, same floor) even to sample or purchase wine and cider. It has a large, lovely bar and lots of tables where you can purchase cheese and crackers (and some food) to pair with your wine/cider.
I loved being able to walk to the The Moon Cafe & Bakery across the parking lot which has really great espresso drinks (Im picky) and amazing pastries & croissants that sell out. Within the building there are also some fun ski/sweatshirt/clothing stores (and a brewery) which was nice since it was so cold out. I discovered a local brand where they actually make the clothing right there in the shop (Burgeon Outdoor).
On the other side of the parking lot is a grocery store and discount store- super helpful if you want to stock up your fridge!
The kids loved the outdoor heated pool and hot-tubs and it was nice to see you could get pool towels down there without having to bring any from the room.
We had a drink at the bar in the lobby and it was great! Wish we had time to order food, but we had reservations down the road. We didnt make it to the Italian restaurant but will next time!
Super great place for families, skiiers and non-skiiers. I took the shuttle which picks you up out front of the hotel over to Loon to meet up with folks with snacks and then took it back- easy peasy and didnt have to fight for a parking spot at Loon.
