点评:I am writing this review with so much sadness..... My husband and I live in Reno, in Lakeridge and frequent the Atlantis for their amazing Restaurants - we love the Atlantis Steakhouse, Bistro Napa and anytime we have Family/Friends in town we take them there (easily several dozen times!). So my Husband of 38 years bought me an Atlantis Gift Card as a Christmas Present to use at the Atlantis Spa as it is the most highly rated Spa in Reno. I decided to use it this week as my Daughter came up from San Diego for Mother's Day and what better way to have some Mother/Daughter time, right?
We booked Massages and thought we would enjoy the 'Spa Experience' that the Atlantis is known for. When we arrived we found that the Spa pool was out of service. Okay, fine (but not really) - we went to the outdoor pool that was filled with Moms and Kids. Again, no biggie, kinda, not really? My Daughter and I wanted to order a Drink. There wasn't anyone out at the Pool Area (with the Moms and kids) that was available to take a drink order. So we went back in to the 'non-operational Spa pool' area, finally we were able to order a Drink, they said 20 minutes. Okay, we thought it would work, should be here before our scheduled treatments, and yes they were.
However.... this is where everything went sideways. We received the drinks and the guy asks for payment. I am in a bathing suit with a robe and towel, did not bring my wallet, credit card. He said he would come back. Then we went back in to get ready for our Massages. I am in the 'Relaxation Room' waiting for my Massage and the Masseuse called for me at the same time as a Spa Representative was there asking for me to pay my 'Room Service Bill'. I am at that point just in my Robe and asked if we could settle this later (again, this is just a charge for 2 drinks). So I get done with my Massage and I'm truly relaxed - I am about to go into the Steam Room and the Spa Staff are right there again, asking me to settle my 'Room Service Charge'.
So the relaxation/calm that I just experienced vanished. Okay so wait - why can't you just add 2 drinks to our tab at the Spa? Why do you want to make a Guest feel so Uncomfortable, incessantly asking to pay? Why make this a truly unpleasant Experience? I wanted to have the 'Atlantis Spa Experience'. I will never go there again (will go back to the Peppermill), nor will I ever go to any of their Restaurants ever again. Save your $$ - definitely not a true Spa Experience.
Lastly, the locker area is small/cramped and quite uncomfortable undressing/dressing if more than 3 people are in there, the waiting area also small/cramped. I have been to way better Spas over the years, not sure why the Atlantis Spa is so highly rated.....
