My wonderful wife and I were able to enjoy a getaway weekend, with a visit to Devils Tower, WY; we flew through Denver and drove to NE Wyoming.
The first morning we realized we could enjoy an unplanned visit to Scotts Bluff National Monument. After our hike we were hungry, and steak sounded good.
Thank to Yelp we discovered Prime Cut and we were soon walking inside and ordering.
Prime Cut has a great atmosphere; order up front, get your tray; pay and go to the table where they bring you the hot food.
We enjoyed:
- Salads… ranch and Dorothy Lynch dressing and fantastic croutons… really, really good croutons
- 7oz sirloins, potatoes loaded with butter and Texas toast - also really, really good
- Great house-made sauce
We were soon filled and feeling good and ready for our drive.
As we left, sensing we might need it… sensing the hike at Scotts Bluff might prompt overnight leg cramps for my wonderful wife, we asked where to find a grocery store, to get pickles. The Prime Cut team instead handed us a container of pickle juice - so nice… and… HELPFUL! Later that night my wife did get cramps in both legs and the pickle juice (along with drinking water) helped get rid of the leg gramps.
Thank you, Prime Cut, for the great lunch! and the to-go pickle juice!

离开的时候，我们感觉可能需要一些……担心斯科茨布拉夫的徒步旅行可能会让我亲爱的妻子腿抽筋一夜，于是我们问哪里有杂货店可以买泡菜。Prime Cut 的团队递给我们一瓶泡菜汁——真是太好了……而且……太有用了！那天晚上晚些时候，我妻子的两条腿都抽筋了，泡菜汁（和饮用水）帮她止住了腿抽筋。
