Lil' Burro Mexican Restaurant的点评
点评：We were looking for a quality Mexican restaurant near our new home after living in places without one for years (North Dakota & Germany). We found a gem in Lil’ Burro!
It is off the beaten path in a largely residential area, and it doesn’t look like much from the road, but we had a wonderful experience!
The first thing I noticed was a large garden full of fresh peppers and other produce which are used in the restaurant when they are in season. As we walked in, the place was packed with nostalgia items that gave it a special appeal.
Our server was super friendly and provided great recommendations. For an appetizer, we had the jalapeño poppers with peppers fresh from the garden, homemade cream cheese filling, and homemade ranch for dipping. Then my wife had the seafood enchilada, and I had a combination platter #4 with a cheese enchilada, soft taco, and homemade tamale. The food was all amazing! It was clearly prepared from scratch using quality ingredients. I’m not an expert on what constitutes “authentic” Mexican food, but this definitely tasted genuine.
The owner made rounds during our meal, introduced himself, and made us feel welcome and appreciated. He will definitely get our repeat business, and I recommend Lil’ Burro to others without hesitation!
