Yellowstone Tour Guides - Day Trips的点评
点评：*Disclaimer-we traveled in July 2022, but I kept getting busy with life and kids and kept forgetting to review, but they absolutely deserve the good review. Marked as Sept 2022, but we were there in July, early August.
I'll start this off by saying that I am a beach girl. I love the beach. I am also a type A, plan everything myself type of person. Well, both of those got thrown out on this trip and I have to say, it was one of the absolute best trips I have taken in my life!
I don't think anything can prepare you for the beauty of Yellowstone when you see it for the very first time. This was my first time being in the mountains instead of flying over them! They truly are breathtaking!
We came for a Flood Recovery Tour and were on tour for 7 days, I believe. We stayed an extra day in Bozeman for some things there. When I say that I am still talking about the trip and things we did daily, I am not exaggerating. We truly enjoyed every minute of being with our guide, Jim. Our son adored him, even though he was a pill about stopping at "every single waterfall." Kids are dramatic for sure. Jim told us all kinds of stories and gave us a ton of information on the park and the places that we visited. He was very good with the kids and making sure they were included in conversations. Our son, who names his stuffed animals and that is their name forever, named his stuffed bison Buffalo Bill. Jim teased him and called it Bison William the rest of the trip. Wouldn't you know that our son officially changed the name and calls it Bison William now. So yes, big impression.
It was really nice to be driven around the park and have someone who knew the place like the back of his hand, especially for restrooms and traffic. He gave us great suggestions for places to go or eat when we weren't with him and was awesome about stopping for my bajillion pictures! We really appreciated his expertise, especially when there was a bison walking down the parking lot. We just stayed calm and listened to Jim. The motto of the trip was listen to Jim!
The company itself handled and resolved a hotel situation we had that was, in no way, their fault but the hotel's. We were very appreciative of how quickly it was handled.
This tour and trip allowed me to really just enjoy Yellowstone and, while I'm still a beach girl, I maybe love Montana almost as much!
Once we are done with visiting all 50 states, the first place the kids want to go back to is Yellowstone! I hope that Jim is still doing tours and that he'll have us crazy Cincinnati people again! We have and will continue to recommend Yellowstone Tour Guides to all of our friends!
