Again, I waited several days, and still did not hear back from her.
I called a third time and finally spoke with Salina. To say that this woman was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional would be an understatement. As did the other manager, she suggested I come to the restaurant to get the $2 that I was overcharged, and when I told her that I lived far away and just wanted it credited to my card, she said I needed to come in. I told her that it was not my problem that an employee essentially stole money from me and I should not have to go out of my way to get reimbursed, and she said "it's not my problem either", talked over me, interrupted me whenever I tried to speak, and then told me to call back in 10 minutes and hung up on me while I was still trying to speak. I was shocked.
When I called back 10 minutes later, I explained to her how rude and disrespectful she came across to me, and it was only after I told her I would be submitting a complaint with BBB and writing negative reviews on the restaurant that she apologized, changed her attitude, and explained to me that she had acted that way because I called while she was dealing with another customer complaint and she was frustrated. She told me she would refund the $2 if I texted her a picture of my receipt, but I decided to dispute the overcharge with my credit card company instead so that I would not have to deal with her any further. Needless to say, I will never go to El Burro Loco again.
