点评:We had heard there was some construction in downtown Branson, but we were stunned when we saw an entire section of street cordoned off and torn up. Thankfully there are free lots in the surrounding areas and we were lucky enough to get a spot. To get to Farmhouse, you have to walk along the edge of the construction. The sidewalk was open on both sides of the street. We popped in the front door and were told it was a 20 minute wait. We decided to go ahead and get on the list and stood outside with a few other people waiting. They were doing a steady flow of business and our wait only ended up being about 12 minutes. We were shown to a table near the back and quickly given menus and had our drink order taken. Their food is diner and country fare. My parents went the country route getting the country fried steak meal and the pork tenderloin sandwich. I went more diner and had the two egg breakfast. It didn't take long to get our food and it was well worth the wait, like a family on their way out told us. My dad had so much food and my mom opted to end the parts of the tenderloin that was spilling over the edge of the bread first. Both greatly enjoyed their meal. My eggs were good, though they needed about 30 more seconds of cooking to be the way I like (they were more over easy). The bacon was crispy and the home fries could've been a little crisper, but were still good. The biscuit was a knock out though and I happily took half of it home with me. So don't be deterred if there's a line, the food is worth it.
