点评：A different dining experience than the site predecessor Boboli, which was more directly and specialist Tuscan, rather than general English/ Italian which is a suitable description for Oggi. Having dined here on half a dozen occasions, I can genuinely recommend it as a fitting replacement. The menu is large but seemingly unchanging but don’t let that put you off as easily as it might because there is good variety on offer. The linguine Oggi - a seafood based pasta, is not to be missed as is the lamb main dish. The amaretto based tiramisu is also tasty.
The staff are friendly and approachable. But others have already commented on one unsettling aspect - the haste of service - a very unusual experience for anyone who has often enjoyed leisurely multi course dining under the Italian sun. so this can be at times be rather off-putting. One understands that they have a business to run and obviously prefer to have two seatings per table - BUT experienced return diners of Italian restaurants should surely be given some preference so as to enjoy a leisurely dining experience instead of being felt they are being rushed out. Indeed such concession may in the long run be to the restaurant’s benefit. But in summary, I recommend this restaurant.
