点评：Was staying a a nearby hotel after driving down from north Mississippi and arriving right at close. Stopped by for my final catfish dinner the night before I flew home to Maine. -As I eat Catfish up to five times per week when I’m down south.-
Arrived ten minutes before close, while they were cleaning up, counting the register, but instead of being annoyed, they were happy to take my order for carry-out. Very friendly service.
When my food came out, they’d forgotten the gumbo and it hadn’t been added to the check. I thought the total was was too cheap when I paid, but I guess the girl didn’t hear me? Regardless, the guy came from out back, apologizes and said give them another couple minutes and they’d fire back up the burner so they could heat it up and make sure it was hot and fresh. They apologized again and just gave me the gumbo for no charge, even though I was trying to pay the additional cost.
Out of the five catfish dinners I’d had the previous eight days, it was the best here! Guy wasn’t lying when he was aid there’s was the best fried catfish in the area. (That’s also what local relatives told me and the reason I tried it out)
