点评：When we arrived the hostess asked if we would sit at a high top table, we told her we’d prefer a booth and wouldn’t mind waiting. She looked around and found one for us. When we were being seated at the booth, she was telling the waitress that she was sorry for giving her another table. We said again we would wait for a different section if it was an issue. She said it was not. After a while the waitress took our drink and appetizer order. Drinks were not right, but not a huge deal after a long day of shopping. The app got dropped off by someone other than her, then she returned to get our food order. No drink refill or acknowledgment. The food is dropped off by someone else and again, no return from the waitress for drink refill. She returns and begins complaining to the hostess about her sitting us in her section, and saying how she didn’t like having a full section. Meanwhile, no napkins, no drink refills and no asking if everything is ok, typical restaurant talk. She drops the check off after coming back to ask if we want dessert- no thanks. She then proceeds to charge me $47 for a $28 lunch. I bring it to her attention, she just stares at me and then curses and grabs the print out and says she’ll have to get the manager to fix it. Okay.. yeah definitely get that fixed. She comes back and slams the new bill in front of me and says “it’s fixed” not an apology or anything. Needless to say, she didn’t get a tip. What can we really expect from Applebees though, really? I suppose exactly what we got. Food was decent, typical burger and fries. Zero for service, kindness and atmosphere.
