I stopped at this McDonalds location W. Peace St in Canton, MS, on Saturday, May 6 at about 3:25 PM.
This location is another example of what happens with absentee ownership of a restaurant.
This McDonald's restaurant was FILTHY and one of the kitchen staff was cursing a blue streak for the roughly 5 minutes I was inside. She used the F-bomb and M-F'er bomb a half- dozen times at least, even after the shift lead went into the kitchen and told her that there were customers at the counter.
I'm a grown man and the use of course language is not gonna hurt me at all. However, since this woman looked directly at me while she was cursing out her co-workers, and specifically said "I don't care" when her Shift Lead tried to stop her, I have to imagine she would have said the same even if there had been children or the faint-of-heart present.
This is not a good look for the Store Management or for the presumably absentee owners of this restaurant.
As an amusing aside, the thing this woman seemed to be yelling at her co-workers about was that (this is a direct quote) "I never said I wanted to be a M'F'ing manager". --- I'm gonna go out on a limb right now and say I don't think she ever has to worry about that happening.
The dining room floor was filthy and sticky throughout the entire restaurant. Even though the dining room was completely empty - except for the Shift Lead and some of her friends sitting at a table in the corner - half of the tables were visibly dirty and covered with crumbs and smears and scraps of straw wrappers, etc. In addition, the Men's bathroom was filthy, had no soap, and had greasy hand prints on the wall above the urinal. I'm going to guess that neither the dining room or the Men's room had been cleaned at all on this day.
On a positive note, the food was exactly what you would expect to get at most McDonald's. The fries were warm-ish (not hot, not crispy) and the burger was okay. I also received a 3 piece chicken nugget and TWO hot mustard dips, though I had ordered a 4 piece and 1 dip packet (via the mobile app). That worked out 1 and 1/2 nuggets per dip packet. Seems like more dip than needed for 3 nuggets, but it'not my money being thrown away.
Not recommended.
