点评:The food was good! However, the meat was dry on the bbq and sticking to the plate. We asked for oil as the meat was sticking our server did not speak english very well and we could not understand her, there was not much meat for the $60 special. She said "change the grill" it's from the sugar. we had no idea what she was talking about. When we arrived, there was no instruction about the grill, she just pulled out a drawer at the end of the table. The food was brought, no instruction. The interior of the restaurant is impressive. Noise level was high when most people were talking, made it difficult to talk and hear my husband. We go to another Korean BBQ where it is more intimate and low noise level, the service is better and non intrusive. We had 2 waitresses - 1 was difficult to understand and she did not understand instructions, the other girl her english was better, she listened and brought what we asked for. I told her I did not want the other waitress to serve us as we could not understand her and she did not understand us. She said ooh she speaks better english than me. I said no, u speak better and clearer. The water was served in a small plastic jug and we went thru 3 of them, which was annoying as we had to ask for the water. We went home and I could not find my additional bag, with the asthma meds, I rang the restaurant and the person who answered could not speak english well so I asked for someone who spoke good english. Then one of the owners was on the phone, I asked if my bag was there and he became defensive stating that the staff are all good staff and not take anything - I said I did not state that, I am asking is my bag there simply reply YES OR NO. He went on waffling on how good the restaurant is and they have a high return of customers, the customer service was high and professional and how they would not take anything, again YES OR NO. still waffling on. I said look take my no. and call me. His wife rang and she spoke very good english and advised she has checked the CCTV again and again, no large bag. The female owner was very nice, listened and responded. The next day we spoke and I pointed out the faults, she was happy to listen and advised that she will watch the waitstaff and it was obvious from my opinion that she will take all onboard as she expects a very high standard of the wait staff. She is strict in her training and expects 100% I found the female owner to be a person of a high standard, listening skills, empathy, very understanding and not defensive in anyway.The female owner is a very good representative for her restaurant and should be Maitre De to oversee the waitstaff and ensure customers are having a good time, are u happy with the service, food etc.
