点评：Definitely overpriced. Service and staff were excellent and the food was of very good quality, but way overpriced given the portion sizes. 2 uncooked scallops as a starter are fine, especially when the scallops are as fresh as these were, but at $18 with a small amount of dressing? - definitely way too much of a markup here. The pizzas were tasty but nothing exceptional and at a size that one could describe as 'one pizza adequate for one person with a normal appetite' and average cost (depending on topping) of approx $25 per pizza is a little 'over the top'. Patrons also need to watch the price of extras to toppings - e.g. anchovies at $5 per portion which again is an utterly ridiculous markup.
The lavatories were clean although there had obviously been no recent maintenance when I visited (6:50 on a Friday night) as the waste bin for the paper towels was overflowing, and the toiler roll had run out and I had to change it for myself. Also, attention needs to be paid to the locking devices on the lavatory doors - they don't work!!!
Be aware also that on a public holiday, this establishment charges the 15% surcharge, a fact that is not mentioned on their website or on their menus - it's just added to the bill at the end of the evening. Whilst many restaurants do add this surcharge, most do make you aware of this - Canteen Pizza doesn't!
This is not a restaurant I am likely to return to unless their price/portion ratio is adjusted. Such a pity as the setting, staff and quality of the product is excellent - just way over-priced.
