点评:The ramen broth is rich, layered and well suited each the individual dishes on the menu. The ingredients are fresh - if you sit at the bar, the chef is chopping and carefully assembling each bowl. The portions are quite large, so for $15-18 I find it’s a meal plus a great next day delicious left-over full meal. The menu is not large, which is fine because I’d rather they be experts in 15-20 things vs. a 4 page menu where there are 2 base ingredients and the rest are generic adds. The cocktails are creative, offering a twist on the traditional, and there are mock tails or NA options. The staff is attentive, the atmosphere is charming in an old train car, with a bar area to one side. This is a place I’m comfortable as a solo diner, sitting at the bar and watching the kitchen scene. Tables would easily accommodate groups up to 10, I think, with a reservation. There’s a roll up garage door in the bar, so in summer we bring our dogs and sit just outside the bar and still have the overall vibe of the place. I’m so happy Tori joined the W-7th dining scene in 2019-20-ish. We are graced with such a rich diversity of local chef-owned restaurants fitting many budgets and tastes in this area, it’s worth a commute even if you’re not a neighborhood local. Generous free parking on street, Lime scooters abound, and on the 54 bus line, if you don’t live within walking distance.
