点评：We 3 ladies went out for a”Supper Club” dinner, their last weekend of it. This is a place is a bar, casual bar. All three of us are retired servers. Our server was nice enough. She would ask us a question., if we did not answer immediately she would walk away!?!? Beverage order: water. Anything else?? We are looking at the drink list. Brings the water: anything else to drink? We are still looking and thinking. After the 3 rd time I knew what cocktail I wanted, the other two we’re thinking wine. She brings the cocktail. Any food? My friend then informed her we are going to be there for quite awhile, we like to enjoy our food and our friends company. “ No Problem “. After about 10 minutes she walked over and enquired if we were ready to order? Yes, we will start with the popovers. We haven’t decided on our entrees yet. She came back in 5 minutes to let us know the popovers will take a little while because they were making fresh ones. Great! We are in no rush. We received our piping HOT popovers with maple butter. We did ask for plain butter. After about 10 minutes we were asked how they were? Very good. After about 10 minutes we let her know we were ready to order. We ordered 3 different entrees from the supper club menu and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, 5 minutes later she came out with 2 different whites, they were out of the one we ordered. Okay, Pinot Grigio it is!! When our duck, chicken Kiev and the Halibut arrived: WOW!! They were absolutely gorgeous looking and delicious to eat!! We were impressed. We always sample and share our food. When I had ordered the Halibut with blackberries and pickled onions with balsamic on it…. All 3 of us were a bit leery???? It was fantastic!! My Halibut was also prepared a little differently, crispy on top!?!? Our potatoes and purée were very good also!!We cleaned up our plates and passed on any dessert. We enjoyed our evening and time together. The server did well after she figured out we wouldn’t be rushed and to just walk by and we would let her know when WE were ready. Happy New Year 🎊 2024!!
